Our Story
After coming to America in the early 1900’s and settling in the lush soils of Southeast Iowa, there is one passion the Buline family had: farming. Today, the farm is operated by Robert & Julie Buline and their two sons Jay & Dillon Buline. Each of them has separate responsibilities that contribute to the success of the family farm.
Our Mission
The mission of Buline Family Farms is to improve the productivity on every farm by using sustainable agricultural practices. The Buline Family has worked hand in hand with all aspects of agriculture for over 100 years and will continue to do so for generations to come. We will always strive to improve the land we manage, the animals we raise, and the relationships we have built.
Meet the Family
Today, Buline Family Farms is operated by the Fourth and Fifth-generation family members. Each member of the family contributes to Buline Family Farms with their individual roles and responsibilities.

Fifth-Generation Farmers
James 'Jay' & Mckenzie Buline
Jay, the eldest son of Robert & Julie, brings an entrepreneurial spirit to Buline Family Farms. He implements new technologies and farming practices. Jay shares the same passion for sustainability as his ancestors before him. When Jay is not driving a tractor or operating a combine, he enjoys hunting and traveling with his family.

Fifth-generation Farmers
Dillon & Kacey Buline
Dillon, the youngest son of Robert & Julie, enjoys the analytical side of the family business. Dillon is responsible for providing data-driven information to help make strategic decisions. He strives to maintain & strengthen the land-owner/ag industry relationships that have been established by the farm over generations.
